Our theatre is located 2 lights east of the Bryn Mawr ‘el’ stop on the Red Line, and 2 lights west of the Bryn Mawr exit off Lake Shore Drive.
CTA Construction!
As CTA continues Red/Purple Line Modernization construction, the Bryn Mawr stop is only served by Red Line trains toward downtown and 95th; Howard-bound trains do not stop at the new temporary Bryn Mawr station. For Howard-bound service from the station, take a 95th-bound train to Argyle and transfer to a Howard-bound train. For Howard-bound service to the station, take Howard-bound train to Thorndale and transfer to 95th-bound train back to Bryn Mawr. The Thorndale and Bryn Mawr stations are 1/2 mile walk if you prefer to stretch your legs.
Parking
Please allow ample time for parking at Redtwist. There is free street parking available on Winthrop and Kenmore, the side streets nearest redtwist. There is metered street parking along Bryn Mawr Avenue, as well as on the South West corner of Bryn Mawr and Winthrop and the North West of Bryn Mawr and Kenmore. Meters run 8 AM - 10 PM Monday - Saturday, parking is free on Sunday. There are street boxes, or you can manage your meter on your phone with the ParkChicago App.
If you dine with our friends at Edgewater Mexican Cafe before the show, you are welcome to keep your car parked behind the restaurant while you attend the performance. Edgewater Mexican Cafe is located 1055 W. Bryn Mawr on the corner of Winthrop and Bryn Mawr.
